LIFE WITHOUT SPORTS WOULD BE MURDER.

I'm just an ordinary dude from the beautiful Black Forest in Germany, who discovered a passion for sports early in life. It all started with my first true love: football.

Having embraced this passion on a competitive level for around 20 years, I am immensely thankful for the incredible experiences and the chance to connect with remarkable individuals. Beyond providing enjoyable moments, it instilled in me essential values such as discipline, ambition, determination, and resilience, shaping my character from a young age.

At 18 years old, a new passion sparked within me: fitness and health.

At the beginning, it was focused on weightlifting. Fun fact: My initial drive was to no longer be the skinniest guy on the football team. Everyone starts somewhere, right? :P

This passion grew stronger over time and continues to this day.

Throughout this journey, I've gained many valuable insights that greatly assist me in my athletic pursuits, my profession, and life:

  • Fitness is a lifelong journey, not a 30-day challenge. Consistency is key for success.

  • Fitness is more than just your appearance: a sharper brain, better sleep, a stronger immune system, improved mental health, and so much more.

  • Falling in love with the 'boring' basics and practice them relentlessly.

  • High-performance needs high recovery.

  • Set priorities and integrate them firmly into your daily life.

  • Establish clear goals and reinforce them with visualization if necessary.

  • Create an inspiring environment that helps you grow faster.

Oh, I almost forgot something. Your six-pack is really made in the kitchen, not the gym :)

After having been in weightlifting for 15+ years, I've discovered additional sports activities: jogging, tennis, HIIT, table tennis, (beach) volleyball, hiking, badminton, squash, and climbing - you name it.

As result, I've gradually transformed from a competitive football player into a passionate hybrid athlete.

I love movement and new challenges. I'm fascinated by the incredibly versatile and complex abilities of our bodies to push ourselves physically and develop holistically.

In short, I am breathing and living sports every day.

To me, a life without sports would be murder.

LIFE IS MORE THAN ABOUT ONESELF.

At the same time, my personal development journey intensified.

Over the past years, I've worked extensively on my mindset. I've invested thousands of hours diving into self-development books by top authors, listening to life-changing podcasts (Jay Shetty, Lewis Howes, Steven Bartlett, Andrew Huberman etc.), attending events, and engaging in conversations with experienced experts in their fields.

Through all of this, I've continuously questioned and critically reflected upon my (limiting) beliefs, my thought patterns, and my value system.

In my self-discovery journey, I've gained clarity on profound questions about life:

  • Who am I?

  • Why am I the way I am?

  • What do I want to stand for, what are my values?

  • Why do I do what I do? What drives me?

  • Who do I want to become in the future, and what do I want to leave behind?

I've realized that striving for true fulfillment in life is more than just unlocking one's own potential.

IT'S TIME TO SERVE OTHERS.

Over the past few years, my desire to continually grow and ultimately support other people in their apsirations with my personal experience has grown stronger.

Three years ago, I became a certified Health, Performance and Sleep Coach to complement my personal experience with in-depth knowledge from the world's leading experts in fitness and health.

I've realized that self-optimization is not just about making oneself happy. My personal journey rather serves as foundation to inspire other athletes ('to-be') to look, feel and perform better than ever.

For me, it took several years to discover how to lead a truly high-performing, healthy, and fulfilling life.

Now, I want to be your shortcut to getting closer to your best version.

In a fraction of time.

Are you ready?!

HIGH-PERFORMANCE NEEDS HIGH RECOVERY

A few years ago, I dived deeper into the concept of biohacking. It's all about getting to know your own body so well that you can optimize it.

Biohackers aim to become their best version while improving their performance in a holistic and sustainable way.

I embraced this concept and tried out many 'biohacks' and tools myself. I constantly experimented with small changes to optimize my own system, routines, and performance - up until today.

Along the way, I realized that without optimal recovery there is no optimal performance.

If I neglected recovery, it often resulted in low energy, decreasing or stagnating performance, elevated stress levels and even sickness or injury.

Recovery - both mentally and physically - is the holy grail for maximizing our energy, performance, and health.

It's not training or working harder. I first needed to understand that, too.

A well-balanced, tailored diet combined with effectively managing stress in training and life are non-negotiable pillars of my recovery nowadays.

Complementing these two with the #1 aspect of recovery: a good night's sleep - has been THE game changer to be at my best every day - in sports, work, and life.
